with New Year's Eve in view, our holidays for 2017 are also booked. This year we will go to the Faranghe camping again with Mieke and Michel. Two weeks of enjoying the peace, the great nature and beautiful cities, the Italian cuisine and the Verdiccio. See you in June ... :-)

We are currently booking for the summer of 2016. This year we are going to Spain, but we still often think back with pleasure and a bit of melancholy to our wonderful time at Faranghe in the summer of 2015. What a wonderful place with beautiful views and a warm welcome. Mieke and Michel can tell you a lot about the beautiful surroundings and organize various fun activities. The only stress we experienced here is that we had to decide every day whether we would stay lazy at the campsite or enjoy the surroundings 🙂 Our children aged 11 and 9 also had a great time. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful time we had in August with Mieke and Michel on Faranghe. Apart from all the hustle and bustle, we have made wonderful trips to historical places close by or a little further away, had a lot of lunch with Italians, walked (a bit warm though), simply stayed at the campsite with swimming pool, own wine, fantastic veranda and excellent atmosphere.     Booking

    1. The reservation is valid from the moment we receive the down payment. Payment balance on arrival at Faranghe!.
    2. We will confirm your (down) payment.

    The availability

    1. On the date of arrival, the camping pitch or accommodation will be available from 4 pm. On the day of departure we request that you leave the pitch or accomodation by 11 am.
    2. Kindly request to plan your arrival time after 4 PM and before 8 PM. Different arrival times please in consultation.

    In case of damage

      We do not charge a deposit for the rented property, because we assume that you use our possesions en premises carefully as if it were your own. And of course something can still get damaged. In the unlikely event that this should happen, we must hold you liable for the damage suffered and will charge you for this damage item. You can then recover this damage yourself from your liability insurance.

    Cancellation during Corona pandemic

      Bookings for 2021. So far we know, Travel insurances do not compensate for cancellations if you are unable to travel because Corona has broken out in an area. That is why we have to solve it together - with each other. Our cancellation rules during the pandemic:
      1. If there is “travel ban” or “only necessary travel” for Italy or Le Marche and we are not allowed to receive you. In that case, we will pay - your (down) payment for your unused vacation days with us - in full and in cash.
      2. Are you prohibited by your government from traveling because of Corona, so a “travel ban” or “only necessary travel” applies in your area of residence. In that case we have a leniency arrangement and (down) payment for your unused vacation days will be fully refunded to you in the form of a voucher. This voucher is for an indefinite period and can be redeemed as soon as the holiday is possible again and it suits you. You can also transfer your voucher to third parties in consultation with us.
      3. If you have become ill (corona or otherwise) or are prevented from enjoying your holiday with us for any other reason, the normal cancellation rules apply and you must use your own travel and cancellation insurance.

    Cancellation

    1. In case of cancellation by the tenant more than 6 weeks before the start of the booked stay, an amount of 50% of the total rental amount is due.
    2. In case of cancellation after 6 weeks before the start of the booked stay, the total rental amount is due.
    3. You can cover this risk by taking a travel and cancellation insurance with an insurance company.
    4. In case of cancellation by Faranghe!, the (down) payment will be fully refunded.

    A pet on vacation

      A pet is welcome if it is friendly to children and other animals. Please consult with us in advance.

    Opening hours and months

      We zijn open van 13 april tot 1 november. Dagelijks van 8.00 tot 12.00 uur en van 16.00 tot 20.00 uur. Hoogseizoen = juli en augustus. Laagseizoen = april, mei, juni, september en oktober

Living history & museums

  Beautiful cities in the region, such as Ancona, the port city, Fabriano the paper city, Tolentino, the city with the richly painted basilica, Matelica with a museum with old living rooms, Esanatoglia, with the foundling hatch in the church, Gubbio with cable car across the beautiful city . And much, much more!

Festivals & sagre

  Each self-respecting city has sagras and palios. The spring has festivities with beautiful names like the sagra of the frog, the sagra of the goose, the sagra of the pizza, the palio of the sword of the palio of the towers. The summer is for music lovers. Find the blues festival at beautiful locations such as in front of the castle in Gagliole. The jazz festival in Perugia has performances in every street. The opera festival in the open-air theater Sferisterio. The lesser known theater buffa, the operetta Pergolesi festival in Jesi. Or the famous yearly Rossini festival in Pesaro. Specialties from the region & good food

  Every day you will find a market for your everyday groceries and special souvenirs, such as on Wednesdays you will find a small market in Esanatoglia, on Thursdays a larger one in Matelica, on Fridays in Castelraimondo. You can find the annual fairs in our event calendar. In Fabriano and Matelica you will find covered markets with the specialties of the region. We have listed the special addresses for you of producers with particular goods. And of course the nicest restaurants where the food tastes delicious.

Lots of space to play

Faranghe! does not have an animation team but there is room to play. The road to the campsite is only for local traffic, so no passing traffic. There is a place where you can build huts. You can get started with our nails and hammer and under the supervision of your parents. Check the page with workshops & excursions to see which fun things we organize. Or organize something yourself. A game on the tennis table? We supply the bats and balls. On the terrace, the old hay barn, you can play a game from the toy box with friends from the campsite. Or just quietly read a book. There is WIFI on the terrace so you can access the internet with your tablet.
 

Enjoy swimming in the pool….

Op de camping kan je lekker speelzwemmen in het zwembad, Maar misschien nemen je vader en moeder je een dagje mee naar Eldorado met heel veel meters glijbanen of zwemmen in het meer waar ze ook waterfietsjes hebben. Heb je weleens gehoord van GEOcachen? Dat is schatzoeken met een computer en kun je doen met bijvoorbeeld een GPS op je vader of moeders telefoon. Je kunt ook wandelen en klauteren naar de kluizenarij waar San Cataldo. Cataldo is heilig verklaard, omdat die de berg heeft tegengehouden en zo het dorp Esantoglia heeft beschermd voor een lawine.

Fun things to do together with your parents

The town of Fabriano has a paper museum where you can make your own paper the old-fashioned way. And in the basilica they have a fresco of Saint Nicholas handing out presents. If you are going to Gubbio for a day, you can take the basket lift to the highest point of the city. There is someone lying in a glass box! You can also visit one of the many castles. What do you know about knights and ladies and can you learn about the living in the Medieval?

Spacious pitches

De kampeerplaatsen zijn ongeveer 110 m2 en geschikt voor tenten, campers en caravans tot 6 meter ex de dissel. Kom je in het hoogseizoen op Faranghe! aan met je fiets of motor en een klein tentje dan heb je waarschijnlijk genoeg aan 50 m2 en krijg je een gereduceerd tarief. Er is stroom beschikbaar voor alle kampeerplaatsen.

Je kan met de auto bij de tent komen om te laden en te lossen, maar parkeren is op het parkeerterrein. Er zijn zo’n 20 plaatsen op het vlakke grasland omringd met bomen (half zon/half schaduw). Het sanitair bestaat uit totaal 4 toiletten, 4 douches en 10 fonteintjes, voor mannen en vrouwen gescheiden. Buiten vind je nog 2 afwasbakken en 2 wasplaatsen. In de gemeenschappelijke loggia vind je gekoelde drankjes (zelfbediening) en zijn er vriesvakken voor je koelelementen. In de loggia en op de oude hooischuur zijn er zitjes en ontvang je wifi. Het zwembad van de camping heeft een afmeting van 9 x 5 en 1.30 diep. Voor zonliefhebbers of schaduwzoekers zijn er op verschillende plekken ligbedden en hangmatten. Wil je je kampeerleven wat vergemakkelijken, kijk dan bij facilities of kom zonder gesjouw op de camping aan met camping-light
In het laagseizoen hebben we een kortingsprijs voor groepen of als je een week of langer blijft.
Voor kinderen is er veel ruimte, een speelgoedkist, tafeltennistafel, een voetbaltafel, een plek in het bos waar je een hut mag bouwen. En omdat we aan het einde van de weg zitten, kunnen ze vrijelijk spelen zonder voorbij rijdend verkeer. Je bent tot niets verplicht, maar als je dat wilt kun je meedoen aan workshops en excursies zoals schilderen met kunstenares Ombretta, de wijnproeverijen bij Gaglardi of Colpaola, of een kookles van moeder en dochter Pelucchini, of neem een snelcursus olijfolie en ga lunchen bij oleificio Rosini. Neem een verkoelende duik in het zwembad of ga op pad met onze wandel- en MTB kaart. En we houden je op de hoogte van evenementen en de lekkerste restaurantjes in de buurt. Elk jaar is er een hoop te beleven en te ontdekken op Faranghe! Camping in our retro caravans

Liefhebber van kamperen maar geen zin om na een lange reis nog je tent op te zetten? Wij hebben een gepimpte caravan te huur. Il Rosso heeft een vaste slaapplaats voor 2 personen en een zithoek. Met onze tunneltent met 3 bedden erbij heb je accommodatie voor 5 personen. De keuken van de caravan is verrassend compleet. Buiten staat een picknicktafel en een bbq op je eigen terras. Het beddengoed en keukendoeken zijn in de prijs inbegrepen. Een set met sarong en handdoeken kun je erbij huren.

Geen gesjouw en bij aankomst zijn je bedden al opgemaakt.
Je maakt gebruik van de sanitaire voorzieningen van de camping. Het sanitair bestaat uit totaal 4 toiletten, 4 douches en 10 fonteintjes. Buiten vind je nog 2 afwasbakken en 2 wasplaatsen. In de gemeenschappelijke loggia vind je streekwijnen, frisdranken en kinderijsjes (zelfbediening). In de loggia en op de oude hooischuur zijn er zitjes en ontvang je wifi. Een verkoelende duik in het zwembad en voor zonliefhebbers of stiltezoekers zijn er op verschillende plekken zitjes en hangmatten.

For children there is a lot of space, a toy box, table tennis table, a football table, a place in the forest where you can build a hut. And because we are at the end of the road, they can play freely without any strange traffic

Je bent tot niets verplicht, maar als je dat wilt kun je meedoen aan workshops en excursies zoals, de wijnproeverijen bij Gaglardi of Colpaola, een kookles, of neem een snelcursus olijfolie en ga lunchen bij oleificio Rosini. Of ga op pad met onze wandel- en MTB kaart, er zijn mountainbikes en elektrische fietsen te huur. We houden je op de hoogte van evenementen en de lekkerste restaurantjes in de buurt. Destination Italy

Maak een toertocht door Italie met je gehuurde kampeerspullen van Geardropper. Hoe gaat dat in z’n werk? Je bestelt je spullen bij Geardropper, zij boeken je vlucht en reserveren je huurauto, bij aankomst haal je eerst je huurauto op en komt dan naar ons, het servicepunt van Geardropper in Italie. Als je dat wilt, hebben we je tent opgezet voor een uitgeruste eerste nacht en ga je de volgende dag op pad om Italie te verkennen.

Als je de spullen weer terug brengt, kun je bij ons je vakantie ook verlengen en uitrusten van een reislustige vakantie. Je verhalen vertellen bij een goed diner of meedoen aan een van onze leuke workshops. We hebben gepimpte retrocaravans en appartementen te huur.

  You can rent a beer table - with two benches for 6 people - from us. If you want to barbecue you can rent a charcoal barbecue. You can have us do your laundry, there is a washer and dryer or clothes lines available. We have freezer for your ice packs. All pitches can be supplied with electricity.

Trips and activities

  Je kunt bij ons een soep of pasta met maaltijdsalade bestellen. Als je de dieetvoorschriften aan ons doorgeeft houden we daar rekening mee.
Make your vacation even more fun and easy
Op maandag koken we superdelux voor onze gasten. Het is een viergangen diner met Italiaanse gerechten uit de streek en ingrediënten van het seizoen. Op woensdag geven we kookles, liefhebbers leren diverse antipasti maken en verse tagliatelle, ravioli of gnocchi. Anderen kunnen aanschuiven om al dit lekkers te verorberen, een lunch waarna je absoluut moet uitbuiken. Op vrijdag zijn kinderen de koks, dan maken we aan het eind van de dag samen pizzas en doen daar rijkelijk gevulde salades bij. Ouders en alle andere gasten kunnen komen eten. Do you want a mountain bike?

  Twee mountainbikes zijn er te huur inclusief helm, handschoenen en bidon. Wil je zeker zijn van deze mountainbike tijdens je vakantie? Bestel e MTB dan bij je booking. Near Faranghe! are well-marked and maintained trails. They have been released by EsaTrail, you can find the latest on their website. The have many GPS routes to download. Each guest receives a map of Esatrail to get 90km cycling and hiking trails of varying difficulty.

Als je wilt kun je ons jouw boodschappen laten doen. Handig voor je eerste vakantie dag, En we hebben altijd wel iets op voorraad voor je “vergeten boodschappen”. Wil je op je gemak alles inpakken en de volgende dag vroeg vertrekken? Dan is onze laatste nacht tentje iets voor jou. Wij plaatsen dit tentje en breken het voor je af. Er zitten slaapmatjes bij.
